Senior Manager/Supervisor

Role: Production Support - Java, PL-SQL, Scripting and Unix/Linux
Location: Toronto - Hybrid
Rate: $45 an hour
Primary Skill : Java, PL-SQL, Scripting and Unix/Linux

Must have,

• Application Support with 6+ years of experience in managing enterprise-grade applications across banking/financial domains

• Expertise in Java and PL/SQL scripts for data validation, reconciliation, and batch processing

• Expertise in analyzing Shell, Perl, and Python scripts for operational efficiency and root cause analysis

• Expertise in troubleshooting complex application and database issues using monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and ITRS within Linux/Unix and cloud-hosted environments

• Proven ability to lead support functions and drive root cause analysis

• Adept at ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management using ServiceNow, ensuring high system availability and SLA compliance

Good to have,

• Skilled in DevOps and SRE practices leveraging Jenkins, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines to improve system reliability and deployment efficiency.

• Strong proficiency in SQL tuning, database performance monitoring, and automation of routine operational tasks

• Knowledge of API integration and POSTMAN API configuration

• Knowledge of KAFKA
